FATHER’S DAY CELEBRATION

Father's Day is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. Many countries celebrate it on the third Sunday of June, though it is also celebrated widely on other days by many other countries. The theme for Father's Day 2024 focuses on “Honoring Fatherhood: Strength, Love, and Sacrifice”. This theme underscores the essential role fathers play in nurturing their children, offering strength and affection, and selflessly making sacrifices for their families' welfare. All SKIPS centers organized various fun filled activities on Father’s Day. Samites enjoyed making Father’s Day cards and gifting it to their father. Rhymes and story sessions related to Father’s Day was also done as part of the activity. The celebration created an opportunity for our Samites to understand the love and caring a father has towards their children.
