Teacher’s Day is celebrated on September 5th in India and is a day to express the love and gratitude we feel towards our teachers.It is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was the second President of India and a great scholar. Teachers Day is significant as it is a day to honour and appreciate the hard work and dedication of teachers. This day is celebrated to acknowledge teachers for their efforts and dedication towards students. It is also the day where the noble profession of teaching is highlighted and emphasis is laid on the significant role that teachers play in the development of a nation by developing and shaping young minds. All SKIPS centers celebrated Teacher’s Day with great enthusiasm. Samites made cards for their beloved teachers and wished their teachers on this special day. All our teachers were overwhelmed with the love and affection shown by their students.The bonding between the teachers and students was reinforced through various fun filled activities during the day.
