FIELD TRIP TERM 1 - VISIT TO THE POST OFFICE

A field trip is an educational procedure by which each student gains information by observing the objects, places, natural events and other real-life information. The main objective of the field visit is to reinforce experiential and contextual learning. The first term field trip was organized during the second week of August in all SKIPS centers. Samites visited the local post office as part of the field trip. The visit to the post office helped our students to understand the activities at a post office and also the duties and responsibilities of a postman. Samites were excited to meet the community helper - the postman and interact with a postman. Samites also posted a postcard to their parents from the post office. The visit to the post office was a very enriching and educational experience for our little stars.
