GO GREEN CAMPAIGN 2022-23

With the mission of creating an awareness among our Samites about the importance of the environment and the conservation of the environment SKIPS organizes GO GREEN THINK GREEN ACT GREEN CAMPAIGN every year. The purpose of this campaign is to help everyone to adopt environmental friendly lifestyles to protect the environment and sustain its natural resources for future generations. SKIPS started Go Green Campaign on 7th October this year with an aim to teach our little samites to value and care for the environment and the natural resources gifted to us. The accumulation of different types of waste materials in our surroundings has become a great threat to mankind. So, apart from the Go Green activities, a demo on 5R's (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose & Recycle ) awareness was conducted in all the centres to teach our little ones the concepts of waste management and how to implement them in their daily life. Every Friday children are engaged in eco-friendly activities like cultivating microgreens, watering plants, reusing plastic bottles, etc. to promote awareness about taking care of the environment and nature.
