Holi is the festival of colours and is celebrated every year with joy and fervour to welcome spring. People wear white coloured clothes and prepare special sweets like Malpuas and Gujiyas. Children love playing with colours using pichkaris, buckets and balloons filled with coloured water. Holi festival reminds us of the victory of good over evil and is celebrated as a day of spreading happiness and love. SKIPS celebrated Holi on 17th March in live sessions. The kids were introduced to the significance of the festival and the story behind Holi. A short video on the story of Prahlad and Holika Dahan was shown to the samites. Our LKG and UKG samites participated in blow painting activity and nursery samites showcased their artistic skill in sponge dabbing activity. The session ended by greeting each other Holi wishes.
