Eid-Al-Adha or Bakrid is one of the two most sacred festivals, celebrated by Muslims all around the world. It is also known as the festival of sacrifice. Bakrid is celebrated in remembrance of the sacrifice of the prophet Ibrahim. We celebrated Bakrid on July 16th in our live classes with great zeal and excitement. The session began with a story by the teachers in which they presented to the children the story behind Bakrid. The children celebrated the occasion dressed in traditional attire. As part of the celebration, our little samites made colorful lanterns. The session was concluded by greeting Eid Mubarak.
