READATHON WIND UP PARTY

“Reading can take you on the greatest adventures”. Samkids International Preschool conducts READATHON CAMPAIGN every year to encourage our little Samites to develop a habit of reading at a young age.The READATHON CAMPAIGN 2023-24 was wrapped up during the month of February with a lot of reading sessions and activities. During the Friday readathon session on 2nd February, our samites were given an opportunity to speak few lines about the favourite character from the story of their choice. On 9th February as part of the READATHON wind up session a puppet show was organized in all centers. Also Samites came dressed up as their favourite characters from the stories they read. All our Samites enjoyed the dress up party and also pretending to be their favourite characters.Our parents wholeheartedly supported the READATHON campaign and took out time to read out stories with our kids. Based on the reading log entries the READATHON champs were selected from each center. The READATHON champs were awarded appreciation certificates on the annual day. The collective efforts of the SKIPS team and parents helped to make our Samites understand the importance of reading and how it will help them develop vocabulary and imagination.
