Eid ul-Adha also known as thr Festival of Sacrifice is one of the most important festivals in the Muslim calendar. The festival remembers the prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son when God ordered him to. The meaning and significance of sacrifice on Eid-ul-Adha encompass obedience to Allah, trust and faith, gratitude, selflessness, generosity, atonement, unity and the embodiment of important moral values. Through the act of sacrifice, Muslims seek to strengthen their relationship with Allah, demonstrate their devotion and foster a spirit of compassion and empathy towards all members of their community. All SKIPS centres celebrated EID UL ADHA on 27th June. Our Samites and teachers were dressed in traditional attires to celebrate the day of Eid.The story behind Eid was narrated by the teachers.
